Q: What are Purse Flats™?

Purse Flats™ are stylish ballet flats that fold and fit easily inside a matching leather clutch handbag. These high-quality shoes are made of supple Italian leather with hand-stitched soles.

Q: What influenced the idea of Purse Flats?

Two years ago, I attended an all day legal conference in the city. Afterwards, I walked six blocks to a cocktail reception. I had on 4 inch heels that day and I knew that I needed a foot solution. Flip-flops or sneakers would not compliment my stylish attire. I needed something small and durable. I also did not want to carry a large handbag to hold the item. When I did not find this item in the market. I started putting the wheels in motion to create the product.

Q: When did you Launch the collection?

I officially launched the business on-line in September. And since then what have been your obstacles? Letting people know about the product. You can have the best product in the world, but if no one knows about it…

Q: What kind of audience are you targeting ? or are they suitable for everyone?

Upscale educated women. A woman who is not looking for a gimmick as a foot solution, but a quality durable product that will last for years.

Q: Have you always been into fashion?

No. I am a lawyer.

Q: What kind of response are you receiving so far?

Great response.

Q: What are your future plans for Purse Flats?

I am currently negotiating a few business options that may help take this product to the next level. Will it expand ? Yes. I have prototypes for a bridal line and alternate colors.

Q: How long have you been designing rain boots?

A:  A year, we launched in November of 2008.

Q:  What exactly does Moov mean?

A: It means on the move.

Q: What inspired you to make  a rain boot collection?

A: I love the outdoors and I love luxury, combine them and you have MoovBoots!

Q: So far, what has been your biggest challenge ?

A: Making sure the craftsmanship is perfect, that all the right materials and designs are where they’re suppose to be.

Q: What makes Moov Boot different then other rain boot brands?

A: MoovBoots have been compared to Ugg boots alot because of the fur inside. I took the idea of having fur inside and the waterproof rain boot and made one boot. So now your boots are waterproof, warm and stylish.
