“Color Blocking” is the hottest trend this season. With colors such as “green, red, yellow, pink and blue” used to mix together for any outfit or shoe.  You hear a lot of talk about “Color Blocking” as well as seeing some of the hottest celebrities on the red carpet blocking with the outfits that they have on but many fail to highlight the shoes as the essential part of the outfit.

Via WWD: The New York-based designer has partnered with pro surfer Karina Petroni to roll out a capsule collection of Baja-print footwear for summer ’11…..

The collection which includes a wedge, sneaker and flat espadrille with a woven fabric detailing in bright blues, yellows and reds, is definitely a great mix of surfer meets urbanly chic girl. Prices will range from $50-$140 and are expected to be sold nationwide at select Macy’s stores.
