Q: Your love for fashion inspired you to start a shoe line, but why shoes and not fashion?
A: Well I’ve always loved fashion. However I keep it simple when it comes
to my clothing but I will always spend more time and money on my shoes. I did shoes because I felt it was more of a challenge. I feel that women should dress from the feet up…your footwear can make or break your outfit. Every shoenista knows this….;-)
Q: Where did you come up with the name Jai B Couture?
A: “The line was named after my grandfather, Johnny C. Brown. If I had to describe him in three words it would be: bold, charismatic, and witty. He was full of character, leaving a lasting impression on everyone he knew. His inspiration led me to this women’s line, allowing this brand to push the envelope with bold details, charismatic colors and lots of personality.”
Q: what is the significance of the snake pattern you use in your shoes/purses?
A: The snake skin is imported from Italy. The vibrant colors left me
speechless and I just had to put it in the collection.
Q: Your Spring/Summer collection recently just launched, what does this collection include?
A: “The collection consists of flats, pumps, platforms, and wedges. The styles are crafted with fine textiles, matured suede, leathers imported from Italy, leather soles and paved wooden heels.”
Q: who’s wearing Jai B. Couture?
A: “Women who aren’t afraid to be different and stand out in a crowd and are confident in their own skin.”
